Between January 18 and March 1, 2011 a total of 40 500 shares have been
subscribed for with the 2003C stock options (FI0009649412). As a result of the
share subscriptions the share capital of Outokumpu Oyj has increased by EUR
68 850.00.
The increase in share capital has been entered into the Finnish trade register
on March 9 and the subscribed shares will be listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki
Ltd and trading will commence along with the old shares as of March 10, 2011.
The shares and share capital of Outokumpu Oyj following the increase in share
capital are:

Share capital: EUR 311 131 873.30
The subscription period for stock options 2003C expired on the 1st of March
2011. Outokumpu has currently no stock option programmes in place.
