Approved Annual Accounts 2010

Farstad Shipping ASA's audited annual accounts for 2010 has been approved by the
board of directors on March 25th 2011. Compared to the preliminary results for
2010 published on the 16(th) of February 2011 along with the 4th quarter report,
there are no changes. The annual report 2010 including the approved accounts
will be distributed to the shareholders with the notice for the Annual General
Meeting.

The board of directors has decided to propose to the AGM to pay a dividend of
NOK 4.00 per share for the financial year 2010. The AGM will be held on May
19th, 2011. Provided that the AGM adopts the proposal, the share will be traded
ex-dividend as from May 20th, 2011.

Farstad Shipping's fleet currently consists of 58 vessels (32 AHTS, 24 PSV and
2 SUBSEA) and 4 PSV under construction. The company's operations are run from
Aalesund, Aberdeen, Melbourne, Perth, Singapore, Macaé and Rio de Janeiro by a
total of 1900 employees onshore and offshore. The company's strategy is to be a
major international supplier of large, modern offshore service vessels to the
