The new Alexa Skill, called PingRing.com , is an Alexa phone finder application for iPhone users. PingRing.com enables users to alert their lost iPhone through their Amazon Alexa-enabled device so that they can follow the notification sound to their phone. It can also provide the physical address of the user’s iPhone.
PingRing.com’s second function allows users to send text messages by voice command. Users can speak their message directly to their Amazon Alexa-enabled device without the need to type on their iPhone.
For readers less familiar with the newer voice command technology, Amazon Alexa is the intelligent personal assistant and voice of Amazon’s Alexa-enabled devices (think Siri in an iPhone, but with more uses). And a “Skill” is the term Amazon uses synonymous with an app.
To use PingRing.com, you will first need an Amazon Alexa-enabled device. Amazon offers three devices, which include (beginning with the highest end model) the Echo, Tap, and Echo Dot.

PingRing.com is available for free download in the Apple App Store and the Amazon Alexa Skill store.
