BM-Rosendahl opens new Development Center

The Development Center was officially opened on March 13, 2017 / State governor of Styria Hermann Schützenhöfer, the two owners, Christian and Georg Knill, and our management ceremonially cut the tape, putting the Development Center into operation

(PresseBox) - These new facilities open up fresh opportunities for customers and partners to work together more closely. The space provides the perfect setting for demonstrations, testing new materials or process parameters and much more. Here the company can set out the way forward for new technologies that enable BM-Rosendahl and their partners to carry out developments that can be patented to protect intellectual property rights.
The equipment currently located in the Development Center demonstrates a part of a fully automated assembly line for automotive starter batteries. These systems are capable of producing up to five batteries per minute.
Currently, the following machines can be seen:
BMR10 Enveloping & Stacking Machine
BMR15 Enveloping & Stacking Machine
AEB-4S Element Buffer
RoCOS X1 Cast On Strap Machine
The level of automation in production and manufacturing is steadily increasing. BM-Rosendahl is continually adapting their equipment and processes to meet market needs and to integrate successive smart solutions into our products. The first steps are already being taken so that the company can service Industry 4.0 and the digital age.
