W+D invites to Neuwied for Direct Mail Days in June

Neuwied, April 6, 2017 – W+D, your first stop for envelope production systems, invites you from 28 to 29 June 2017 June to Neuwied for Direct Mail Days 2017 in cooperation with FEPE, the European Association of Envelope Manufacturers. The company has launched a new series of events to highlight the still untapped potential in the direct mail sector from different perspectives. “Direct Mail is an essential part of the envelope business, which is on the upswing in terms of value development. Now the challenge is to grasp this potential and make full use of it,” says Lisa Kretschmann, Managing Director of FEPE.
Over a two-day symposium, visitors will be able to learn about and discuss the critical market factors and trends in the direct mail segment with presentations in German and English. On the first day, keynote speaker Dr. Sean Smyth of Smithers Pira will illuminate the “Direct Mail Trends in Europe.” Other presentations will cover the impact of advertising and its perception, the increase of responses by creative and attention-grabbing applications in envelope production, as well as cloud-based software for the personalization of direct mailing.
The program will be rounded off by demonstrations of relevant W+D machines such as the W+D 410 Easy Enveloper and the W+D 234 dL, which are equipped for current and future challenges in the direct mail area. In addition, a select group of international exhibitors will present their latest products: UPM Kymmene, Mondi Group and Stora Enso (paper), eukalin (glue), Doneck Euroflex (printing inks), Sidaplax, Multiplastics and Ergo.fol Norflex (window films) and Novadex (software solution personalization).
