Share option exercise
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
In connection with the Company's Employee Share Option Plan, 629,334 options
have been exercised by eligible employees. These options have been exercised at
a strike price of $2.20.
The Company has used a combination of treasury shares and the issuance of new
shares to settle the obligation in relation to the share option plan.
200,000 new shares have been issued and the company has reduced its holding of
treasury shares from 483,627 shares to 54,293.
The total outstanding number of shares in Golar LNG Energy Limited after these
options have been exercised is 237,964,540.
