Horgen, 27. April 2011 - The European Patent Office has recently confirmed in
an objection proceeding a patent of 3A Composites related to its innovative
welding technology of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) based foam core
materials. The welding technology of 3A Composites reinforces structural core
materials made of PET foam and improves their use for applications in the wind
energy, transportation and other industrial markets.
Concurrently with the confirmation of the aforementioned patent, 3A Composites
has granted Diab a worldwide, non-exclusive and non-gratuitous license for the
use of 3A Composites' patent families relevant for the manufacturing and
distribution of products made of PET foam.
