(PresseBox) - The SLM Solutions Software GmbH, a joint venture of the Lübeck-based SLM Solutions Group AG and the CADS GmbH located in Perg, is now a Gold Partner in the Austrian 3D Printing Forum and will participate in this function in the annual forum for generative manufacturing in Linz.
Generative manufacturing is now affixed component in many different sectors within the manufacturing industry. The Austrian 3D Printing Forum will focus on the diversity, trends and technologies in this sector. Users will share their experiences, and entrepreneurs will introduce their methods and processes. International experts will provide insights into their research and the future of this exciting new technology highlighting the potential the generative manufacturing technology has to offer, and which new business models could be developed.
As a Gold Partner, the SLM Solutions Software GmbH will show their new developments at the Austrian 3D Printing Forum. Henner Schöneborn, CEO of innovation and corporate development at SLM Solutions Group AG, will hold a keynote at the annual forum on May 17, 2017 at 16.30 h, titled ?Data effectively and with good quality to the 3D printer?. This keynote will explain the infrastructural challenges both client and contractor have to face.
In the trade exhibition, SLM Solutions will convey haptic impressions of the additive SLM technology showing various components and modules. Part of the show will be implemented components from various industry sectors such as the Moonrover Asimov R3C, a high-pressure reactor for the processing industry sector, or tyre form segments as well as other components from the sectors automotive, energy and aerospace. SLM experts will also be available for the exchange of information and the forming of networks, and will provide further information on the potential of additive manufacturing.
