THIN - Mandatory notice of trades

Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") issues this notice on behalf of certain
primary insiders in Thinfilm.
At the annual general meeting of Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm"), 10 May
2011, it was resolved to issue two warrants for each share issued to a
subscriber in the private placement in October 2010. A total of 240,000 warrants
were issued to Thinfilm's chairman of the board, Morten Opstad, (and close
associates), who is a primary insider in Thinfilm. Similarly, the following
number of warrants were issued to other primary insiders and close associates in
Thinfilm: Margareta Josefsson (board member) 100,000; Catarina Göthe (board
member) 60,000; William Salaneck (board member) 60,000; Rolf Åberg (board
member) 20,000; Davor Sutija (CEO) 240,000 and Geir Harald Aase (VP IR) 240,000.
Following this transaction, Mr. Opstad and close associates will hold or control
1,162,496 shares, 240,000 warrants and 325,000 incentive subscription rights.
Similarly numbers for the other primary insiders and close associates are as
follows (shares; warrants; incentive subscription rights): Margareta Josefsson
(50,000; 100,000; 0), Catarina Göthe (89,400; 60,000; 0), William Salaneck
(89,400; 60,000; 0), Rolf Åberg (188,216; 20,000; 368,750), Davor Sutija
(1,120,000; 240,000; 3,500,000) and Geir Harald Aase (125,000; 240,000; 800,000)
