Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Cermaq ASA was held on the 11th of May 2011.
The General Meeting approved distribution of a dividend of NOK 5.40 per share
for
2010. The dividend will be treated as repayment of paid-in capital. The dividend
will be paid on 24th May 2011 to the company's shareholders as per 11th May
2011, and the share will be listed exclusive of dividend from 12th May 2011 and
onwards.
The General Meeting granted the Board of Directors proxy to acquire own shares
up to a total nominal value of NOK 46,250,000, however, in such a way, that the
company's total holding of own shares must not at any time exceed 5 percent of
the outstanding shares in the company.
Mr. Jan Erik Korssjøen, Ms. Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen and Mr. Helge Midttun were
reelected for a period of two years as Directors of the Board. Ms. Åse Aulie
Michelet was elected as new Director of the Board for a period of two years and
replaces Ms. Astrid Sørgaard who steps down from the Board.
