Amstelveen, 18 May 2011-, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate a twice daily
service to Euro-Airport, the airport serving Basel and Mulhouse, from the start
of the winter schedule 2011 (30 October 2011).

KLM is taking over flights from Cityjet and will operate the Basel/Mulhouse
service using Fokker 70 equipment. Basel and Mulhouse are situated in a region
around the French, Swiss and German borders which has over two million
inhabitants. Basel is KLM's third Swiss destination after Geneva and Zurich,
while Mulhouse is KLM's sixth French destination after Paris, Bordeaux, Nice,
Marseille and Toulouse.

These two cities are very interesting for both business and holiday travellers.
Among other major institutions, Basel also houses the Bank for International
Settlements. Basel is also one of Europe's most important centres for
contemporary architecture and is a very attractive cultural city. Mulhouse, in
the French region of Alsace, has a beautiful historical city centre and a rich
offering of museums.

The flights to Basel and Mulhouse will depart daily at 10:00 hours from
Amsterdam, arriving at 11:25 hours in Basel/Mulhouse. The flight returns at
12:05 hours, arriving in Amsterdam at 13:35 hours. The second flight departs
Amsterdam at 20:30 hours and arrives at Basel/Mulhouse at 21:55 hours. The
flight departs the following day at 07:15 hours from Basel/Mulhouse and arrives
in Amsterdam at 08:45 hours.
