To our loyal European shareholders of Manganese X Energy Corp.
I feel it is important that I give a Corporate update due to the recent selling activity in our stock in the past month. I would like to first mention that manganese is now becoming a key component within in the li-ion battery Electric Vehicles (EV) market as demonstrated July 6th by Volvo Carmaker Volvo saying all new models will have an electric motor from 2019 http://www.bbc.com/news/business-40505671. This clearly demonstrates that manganese will only increase in demand and of course in value.
Please be advised that we are progressing very positively on our Battery Hill Manganese Project while pursuing to become the first North American producer of a value-added Manganese product for the li-ion battery market. The rash of selling is due to the fact that on our recent financiering which was held on January 15th and February 23rd tax credit flow through shares were issued in the total amount of 5,106,667 "flow-through" shares ("FT Shares") at a price of $0.15 per share and now are being sold off due to the fact the investors received a tax credit write-off of 50%, so in reality it cost the investors half price. On a positive note, our recent completed nine-hole, 1,600-metre drill program tested the Sharpe and Moody Hill areas, where drilling last year produced assays of up to 16.73 per cent manganese oxide over 32.85 metres and 13.87 per cent over 52.6 metres. Spring Drill results to follow within approximately in 6- 8 weeks period. Upon receipt of assays and drill results it is our intention to perform a NI43-101 which will increase, validate and deliver a resource estimate for our Houlton-Woodstock Manganese property later this year which will further assist us to bring our property into production. In addition, our recent leaching tests proved out at 96 % which was very positive and encouraging. We are also now proceeding with a marketing and a cost economic assessment project with 2 major consulting firms specializing in manganese development as well as cost effective methodologies, to determine a viable cost effective value-added manganese product.
In addition, we recently received funding from the New Brunswick Government and are aggressively pursuing potential acquisitions.
