In autumn, the 18th International FSK Specialist Conference Polyurethanes 2017, taking place 7/8 November in Austria, offers interesting insights for the industry

On Tuesday morning at 9:30, the conference will open to all participants in the high-tech environment of the Fill Future Dome. This extraordinary communication and event centre offers a particularly inspiring setting for the specialist conference. Following an official welcome by FSK Chairman of the Board, Albrecht Manderscheid, our host and Managing Director Andreas Fill will hold a keynote speech titled "Connecting People".
Ten top-notch speakers will fill both days with lectures relating to polyurethane in its many facets. Numerous applications for this versatile material e.g. in refrigeration units, aircraft seats, heavy-duty leaf springs, ski manufacturing and engine room acoustics will be presented. Experienced speakers will illustrate polyurethane properties as perfect vibration insulation, wood finish or permanent, stabilizing element in formwork technology. Finally yet importantly, combining PUR technologies to achieve customised solutions and the networked development of the future polyurethane industry will also be addressed.
Look forward to the panel discussion on Tuesday afternoon, with representatives from the worlds of business and politics, comprising the highly debated handling of diisocyanates under REACH. In the late afternoon, the Innovation Award Polyurethane 2017 will be presented. This year?s award winners ? companies and junior professionals - will be honoured in the categories design and construction, and technology (processing and chemicals).
Before the evening event at the Fill Future Dome, those interested have the opportunity to visit Fill GmbH, a leading international and innovative special purpose machine and plant construction company. After the lectures on Wednesday morning, you are also invited to a ski manufacturing factory tour of the Fischer Sports GmbH at nearby Ried im Innkreis.
