Purchase of own shares

In May 2006 the General Meeting of Cermaq ASA approved an annual share programme
for the employees, allowing the purchase of up to 200 CEQ shares at a 20 percent
discount. To have the necessary shares for the employee share programme in 2011
Cermaq ASA has today purchased 29.000 shares at the price of 95,7 NOK per
share. The shares were purchased via the stock exchange. The new holding of
treasury shares is 33.556.
The purchase of own shares is in accordance with the power of attorney to the
board of Cermaq ASA to acquire own shares resolved by the General Meeting on
the( ) 11(th) of May 2011.
