Dr. Heidi Fagerholm, Chief Technology Officer and member of the Management Board
will leave Kemira to take up the position of Head of Advanced Technologies of
PM-Performance Materials division of Merck KGaA, Heidi will be based in
Darmstadt, Germany.

Fagerholm will continue in her current position and as a member of Kemira's
Management Board latest until the end of October, 2017. Kemira has started the
process of finding a successor to lead its global R&D and Technology function,
including more than 250 scientists and professionals in three global R&D centres
in Espoo, Finland, Atlanta, USA and Shanghai, China.
