Microsoft chooses EDB ErgoGroup as its only NSI partner in Norway

(Oslo, 1 July 2011) EDB ErgoGroup has become the only Norwegian IT company to be
chosen as a Microsoft National System Integrator (NSI) partner. NSI is a
worldwide partnership program established by Microsoft to support and develop
partners that are of particular strategic importance in each local market.
EDB ErgoGroup has received a Microsoft award for the company's outstanding work
with SharePoint. EDB ErgoGroup was one of a number of companies nominated in
competition for the award. In its citation for the award, Microsoft explains
that EDB ErgoGroup has been chosen in recognition of its commitment to
establishing SharePoint as the best platform for internet and collaborative
working solutions. The award is decided by Microsoft's global NSI management.
This is the third year in a row for EDB ErgoGroup to be recognised for its work
with SharePoint by an award from Microsoft.
Top 100 in the world
EDB ErgoGroup is the only Microsoft NSI partner in Norway, and one of only three
NSI partners chosen by Microsoft in the Nordic region. Microsoft has selected
just 93 NSI partners around the world.
A feather in the cap for EDB ErgoGroup's consultants
"This is a real feather in the cap for the 1,200-strong consulting business of

Strong growth in expertise and capacity
The citation for the award to EDB ErgoGroup mentions the company's strong growth
in expertise and capacity in relation to SharePoint, not only in its consulting
activities but also in its development activities and IT infrastructure.
According to Microsoft, EDB ErgoGroup is twice as large as the next Norwegian
SharePoint supplier in terms of Norwegian resources. Microsoft also points out
that EDB ErgoGroup offers business platforms for the public sector,
Webinteraktor, SharePoint for internet and SmartPoint based on the company's
SMART concepts.
