New heat protection accessories for 3M Versaflo respiratory protection systems
(PresseBox) - 3M Versaflo respiratory protection systems are made for breathing in the toughest conditions. From now on this is also possible in extreme temperatures. 3M is expanding its system solution for respiratory protection, face protection and head protection by providing accessories for high temperature environments. This increases the range of possible applications for the tried and tested product - for example, steel production and processing.
With the new accessories for the 3M Versaflo respiratory protection system, complete protection for work in high temperatures is now possible. Two heat shields are available for the M-300 and M-400 protective helmets, a visor frame and a gold-vaporized visor with the UV / IR tint 5.
Seamlessly compatible
The so-called high-heat accessories are effortlessly compatible with existing Versaflo systems of the 3M Powered Air Respirator range. The proven wearing comfort and the flexible characteristics of the Versaflo system components are uncompromised. The system is distinguished, among other things, by a tailor-made fit of the helmet parts thanks to individual adjustment possibilities. In addition, the filters can be exchanged easily and quickly. Further advantages include the innovative bayonet connection for the air hose, the adjustable airflow distribution as well as the general compatibility with existing systems.
