Medineering Positioning Arm is now CE approved
(PresseBox) - The Munich based surgical robotics startup Medineering announced the CE approval of its Positioning Arm. The Positioning Arm is now CE approved for holding and positioning passive adapters and robots in the field of ENT-, neuro- and spinal surgery.
The Medineering Positioning Arm is the base of a completely new concept of robotic assistance. ?We are looking forward to the upcoming solutions of robotic assistance based on our Positioning Arm? said Dr. Maximilian Krinninger, CTO of Medineering.
Medineering, headquartered in Munich, develops, manufactures and markets an application-specific and convenient robotic portfolio to make the benefits of robotic assistance available to a broad number of patients. The portfolio consists of the Medineering Positioning Arm and compact application-specific robots assisting surgeons in complex anatomical regions. Dr. Maximilian Krinninger and Dr. Stephan Nowatschin founded Medineering in June 2014. The startup has grown rapidly and the young and international team consists of highly specialized robotic engineers, marketing experts and regulatory specialists.
