Poland: ECOVIS System Rewident in client?s defense
(PresseBox) - ECOVIS System Rewident has been supporting their clients in many areas for a long time now. This time in the interests of our clients, our company has gone one step further.
At the beginning of 2017, heads of tax offices gained greater powers in the area of registration and removal of entrepreneurs from the VAT register. The situation is simple in the case of entrepreneurs who submit their VAT returns monthly. The picture is more complicated in the case of seasonal entrepreneurs or entities the main purpose of which is not conducting business activity (e.g. foundations, associations). Nil-VAT returns (no transactions reported) submitted by them for a certain period of time give the head of the tax office the right to remove them from the VAT register and, according to the press, not to inform the entrepreneurs. Ecovis System Rewident has met this problem head on. By submitting extensive explanations to tax offices concerning the specific nature of the business activity of these entities and thus justifying the validity of submitting Nil-VAT returns, Ecovis System Rewident has prevented its clients from being removed from the VAT register and, therefore, avoided further complications.
