NONG: Adjusted Equity Certificate fraction

Reference is made to the completed rights issue and private placements in
SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge.
The Equity Certificate (EC) holders' share of the parent bank's equity, (EC
fraction), has changed due to the completed rights issue and private placements,
and transfer of funds from the Savings Bank's Fund to "Sparebankstiftelsen
SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge".
The new EC fraction effective from 01.01.12 is calculated to be 42.43 %. When
distributing the parent bank result for the financial year 2011, 6/12 of the net
proceeds from the rights issue and private placements are included in the
calculation of the EC fraction. The EC fraction for the accounting year 2011 is
calculated to be 38.74 %.
