Disaster recovery and business continuity provider, Databarracks, today announces the release of the second season of The Business Continuity Podcast. Season two features comment from continuity and risk professionals from TFL, Virgin Media, Thames Water, an international law firm and major wholesale banks. The interviewees share real-life stories of the biggest disasters they have faced, as well as offering insight and practical advice to listeners on the steps they can take to improve their preparedness and reduce the risk of business downtime.
Launched in 2016, season one of The Business Continuity Podcast, brought together experts responsible for managing business continuity for some of the largest organisations in the world, to provide an introduction to business continuity and disaster recovery.
Season two delves deeper, looking at individual recovery stories including incidents such as the Bishopsgate bombing, Hurricane Sandy and The Kingsway fire. Interviewees detail not only how the events unfolded, but also provide their take on the lessons learnt from each incident.
Peter Groucutt, managing director of Databarracks commenting on the launch of season two: “The purpose of The Business Continuity Podcast was to bring advice from the best practitioners to the masses and to help educate SMEs. For us, the best stories from the first season were the first-hand accounts of recoveries, so that is what we have chosen to focus on for season two.”
