(firmenpresse) - February 1 2018: Aricent, the global design and engineering company will this year showcase a number of innovative solutions. These include Artificial Intelligence (AI) based 5G solutions for zero touch networks, multi-access edge technology and blockchain-based security.

What: The demos are as follows:
Demo 1: Intelligence at the Edge - Demonstration with Microsoft’s HoloLens how mobile operators can use edge computing capabilities with Artificial Intelligence for AR and VR monetization. Use cases include real time object recognition for autonomous driving and intrusion detection.
The demo will also showcase how mobile operators can use edge caching to save backhaul costs for streaming videos e.g. surveillance on uplink.
Demo 2: Future of 5G: Intent Based Networking with Zero Human Touch - See how NetAnticipate from Aricent integrates automation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enhance the mobile network of the future. Key demo features include:
• Data Driven Intent Modelling
• Intent Federation Engine
• Closed Loop Automation
• Natural Language Interface
Demo 3: The 5G Core Aricent has developed a 5G core based on stateless and micro services architecture for 5G. Simulators will show how the system can scale up and down to meet capacity with orchestration capabilities.
Demo 4: Blockchain-based mobile security Aricent will demonstrate robust security solutions for mobile operators, including Blockchain-based solutions, security for IoT, DevOps and devices.
Demo 5: Behavior-Driven NFV Automation – See how TANTEM, a Test-as-a-Service framework creates on-demand NFV test environments through a unified test portal and its lifecycle management with DevOps tools. TANTEM supports both virtual and bare-metal test environments.
Demo 6: Video Optimization on Mobile Edge - Using a multi-access edge compute platform, Aricent will showcase video optimization and analytics to boost Quality of Experience and demonstrate the value of low latency applications. This will include architecture for videos on the edge of the cloud and dynamic network condition sensing, low latency and adjustment in real-time to video quality parameters.
