Archiware highlights Archive and Backup to the Cloud at BVE 2018
Archiware, producer of data management software Archiware P5 and Pure, exhibits its latest developments at the BVE 2018 in London from February 27th to March 1st. Special showcases include a live demonstration of Archive and Backup to the Cloud, the new solution with QNAP and partner integrations at Archiware and distributor JPY’s stand F27.
P5 Software Suite(firmenpresse) - Munich/London, February 14, 2018 – The BVExpo is a premier event for professionals in the Media and Entertainment industry. This year, Archiware presents the newest Cloud features for its P5 software suite modules P5 Backup and P5 Archive. Supported Cloud services include Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Generic S3 and Backblaze. The flexibility of the P5 modules is further demonstrated through a live setup of Backup and Archive to the latest LTO tape technology.
Another highlight of the show is Archiware’s most recent partnership with cutting-edge Network Attached Storage provider, QNAP. The solution allows Archiware P5 to be installed on all x86-64 QNAP models (QTS 4.3.0+). In combination with Overland-Tandberg’s integrated RDX removable media, the new solution provides optimal medium- and long-term security.
To demonstrate the practical application of P5 in conjunction with partner products, Archiware’s booth F27 will feature the following setups:
• Overland-Tandberg Tape Library
• mLogic mTape with LTO-7
• Promise RAID
• G-RACK Thunderbolt to Fibre Bridge
• Accusys 8-Bay TB3 storage
