(firmenpresse) - For school children, educational visits are often a key part of their learning experience. Engaging with the real world outside of the classroom stimulates young minds and sparks curiosity. Each young mind is different, with unique dreams and interests. A well-planned school tour has something for everyone to take back, both as memories and as valuable inspiration for the future.

Futuroscope, located in Avenue René Monory in Western France, is a theme park that provides a valuable educational experience for pupils. With a variety of attractions covering a range of themes within the park, seven restaurants and a hotel, an educational outing here is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience for youngsters. The park offers attractions that are based on several interesting themes that highlight different aspects of our world, the human body and scientific progress. All of the information that you’ll need for this educational visit is available on the website, and downloading their Discovery Pack prior to a visit is always a great idea.

Virus Attack

Get ready for an unbelievable journey to the inside! Inside what, you ask? Inside the human body. Set within a dynamic cinematic experience, this is a voyage like no other, presented to you from the eyes of a miniaturised medical drone. With the latest images and health research backing up the visuals, you’ll journey through the human body. From the blood stream to the nervous system, you’ll learn how to combat the deadly sleeping virus Hypnos D 44 that has caused an infection. The mission objective is to stop the spread of the virus before it becomes an epidemic. This is one educational visit that will amaze everyone and teach students about the intricate working of the human body.

A Space Adventure: Through Thomas Pesquet’s Eyes

Have you wondered about the mysteries of space? Then this is the educational visit for you. With first hand visuals documented from astronaut Thomas Pesquet’s 196-day mission aboard the International Space Station, the Futuroscope attraction shows us the magnificence of our delicate planet in the vastness of the cosmos. Learn about life in space at zero gravity and the numerous challenges that are faced by astronauts during space exploration. Discover the final frontier of our galaxy, consider the ultimate question of whether we are alone in the universe and have the experience of a lifetime inside the groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind IMAX laser technology theatre screen at the park.

The Energy Gardens

Perhaps the most educational visit at Futuroscope, the Energy Gardens is a thought-provoking experience, covering the various energy sources in the world. As energy demands across the world balloon and our planet faces challenges from its CO2 reliance, this is one of the best ways for younger generations to get insights into the complex problem of global warming today. Harnessing cleaner energy sources such as Wind, Solar, Hydro and Biomass are the answer to a more sustainable future, and the energy gardens is without a doubt a unique way to see and experience this firsthand.

What better way to learn about space, the human body, the energy options of the world and experience a bit of French culture at the same time? All in all, this is perhaps the most engaging learning experience for young minds.
