Take Your Performing Arts Group to Disneyland® Paris

Take Your Performing Arts Group to Disneyland® Paris

ID: 573771

There’s nothing more exciting for students than to perform to an audience, so imaging performing to an international crowd on a residential trip to Disneyland®.

(firmenpresse) - As a performing arts teacher, it’s wonderful to inspire your pupils by taking them on school trips to see professional productions, but imagine how much more inspiring it would be to take them on a residential trip where they are the stars of the show! As part of the Disney® Performing Arts Programme, your students will have the opportunity to appear on stage in the world-famous Disneyland® Paris theme park.

Take to the Stage

As part of a three-day theatrical adventure, your group will travel to France, stay in a Disney®-partnered hotel and enjoy two full days in the Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios®. But the most exciting part of all of this is that they will be able to actually perform in this world-famous destination.

Students will get the chance to demonstrate their talents at a variety of venues, ranging from the Park’s gardens in Paris to the Videopolis Theatre to the parade route that runs through the Park.

Trip Itinerary

•Day 1

The three-night residential trip to France starts with a coach picking you and your party up from school and taking you across the English Channel to France. You and your group will arrive at your hotel in the early evening, ready to enjoy dinner and a good night’s sleep before your big moment the next day.

•Day 2

Your performance will be scheduled for the second day of your visit in one of the Performing Arts Programme’s venues. For the rest of the day, your group can enjoy access to the rides, shows and entertainments of Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios®. Performing arts students will particularly enjoy the Studios® with its behind-the-scenes access and making-of exhibitions of some of Disney’s® most popular films.

•Day 3

Students can enjoy a second day in the Park, trying out any of the rides across its five individually themed lands, including the famous Space Mountain rollercoaster and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, which went on to inspire the film franchise.

•Day 4

It will be sad to say goodbye to such an amazing experience, but day four will see you packing up and boarding a coach back to the UK (with the possibility of a little shopping along the way). You and your group will arrive back at school by the early evening.

Added Extras

As if this weren’t enough already, you can extend your chance-of-a-lifetime residential trip to include other elements that might be of interest to your group.

An opportunity not to be missed is the Disney® Performing Arts Workshops: a series of workshops held by professional entertainment industry figures. Workshops are currently offered in dance and musical theatre, as well as in vocal and instrumental performance; elements that your group will work on as part of the workshop will include technique, professionalism and teamwork.

In any residential trip, there is a lot to organise, so it’s worth contacting a specialist educational tour operator to help you sort out all of the details for this wonderful journey. That way, you’ll be free to concentrate on ensuring that your team is ready to put on the show of their lives.
