New: Innovative BDS-2 LED clearance light in a small format

The same functions despite more compact dimensions

(PresseBox) - Herth+Buss recently added the innovative BDS-2 LED clearance light with an optical reversing sensor to the Elparts product range. To complement the existing variant, Herth+Buss now also supply a smaller, more compact clearance light. With a width of 155 mm and a height of 190 mm, the new variant is particularly well suited to smaller compact vehicles and trailers for passenger cars. As is also the case for the larger variant 82710490, engaging reverse gear automatically activates the system. On reversing, the sensor detects obstacles as far as away as 4.5 m from the vehicle, allowing the driver to park the vehicle with ease. Three different flash frequencies reliably signal the decreasing distance to the obstacle on the road. Even more concrete advantages are provided in terms of costs, too: firstly, the BDS-2 clearance light offers an attractive price-performance ratio in comparison to existing systems and is secondly very easy to install. The lamp can be used in a voltage range from 12 to 24 V and features a stylistically innovative design with a high threshold of perception.
