Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), Aroset(TM) AGX-L
pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) delivers sought-after adhesive technology for
the medical industry. Aroset AGX-L PSA features excellent adhesion to fabrics
and a combined balance in tack, peel and shear properties for medical
applications.
The Aroset AGX-L adhesive is a pure acrylic adhesive in solution that dries to a
clear, tacky film. It is coater-ready and prequalified for medical applications.
It also complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation 21 CFR
175.105 for adhesives.
"This toluene-free adhesive combines a unique polymer and cross-linking profile
that provides improved anchorage to fabrics and foams, which is a key
requirement for bandages or other skin-applied tapes and medical devices," said
