(firmenpresse) - Jadar Completes Phase 1 Reconnaissance Sampling Program on all Projects in Serbia

- The Company has completed its preliminary field program on its 100% owned Rekovac project in Serbia
- The Rekovac project is considered prospective for sediment hosted Lithium-Borate mineralisation which is analogous to Rio Tintos Jadar deposit
- Phase 1 reconnaissance sampling has now been completed on all five of the Companys 100% owned projects in Serbia
- Samples for all the projects have been submitted to an accredited ALS laboratory in Serbia for sample preparation and analysis
- The Company expects results shortly and will provide an update once the results have been analysed

Jadar Lithium Limited (ASX: JDR) (Jadar or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has completed its maiden field program on its wholly owned Rekovac project in Serbia. The project area is composed entirely of lacustrine Lower and Middle Miocene sediments, which overlie Proterozoic Gneisses and lepidolites. On the eastern flank of the permit the sequence is intruded by granites, aplites, pegmatite dykes and quartz veins. Gledicki Chalk unit borders the tenement on the western flank. The Miocene sediments are very similar to the Rio Tinto Jadar deposit and this style of lithium mineralisation is the target of the Companys exploration program.

The Company executed a permit wide reconnaissance sampling program, which consisted of 71 soil samples.
The objective of the reconnaissance program is to determine anomalous areas that will be the focus of the follow up program.

All samples have been submitted to the ALS laboratory in Bor for sample preparation, from where they will be shipped to an ALS laboratory with suitable analytical capability relating to Lithium and Borate analysis.

The Company has now completed its Phase 1 reconnaissance and mapping program on all five of its projects in Serbia. As soon as the results have been received and analysed, the Company will provide an update to the market.
