Health Insurance in Corpus Christi,Tx may offer greater options for consumers due to proposed changes in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) taxes and health savings accounts.

This week, The House of Representatives in Congress voted to delay an Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax in addition to allowing consumers more options with regard to health savings accounts (HSAs). The tax had already had been delayed through 2019 and was originally designed to provide funding for the ACA, commonly known as Obamacare. This new law will push the tax back to 2021. House Republicans believe the impending tax has been a major driver for insurance premium hikes. Other health insurance advocates have pointed to separate recent legislation which they argue has caused uncertainty in the marketplace.

The question will be how the tax changes affect the Affordable Care Act funding on the ground.
