Make Sure Your Website is Safe & Secure with a SSL Certificate
SSL-Certificate has launched SSL (secure socket layer) certificates to help businesses comply with Google Chrome’s upcoming update that will require all websites to have security certificates.
(firmenpresse) - Australian company SSL- Certificate has announced security certificates available for businesses to comply with Google Chromes upcoming update. Websites that do not have the SSL (secure socket layer) certificates will be flagged as not secure and could ultimately have a negative impact on site traffic and business.

Security measures are getting stricter as hackers get smarter, and now sites without SSL certificates are going to be flagged up by Google and will deter visitors from visiting less secure sites.
The easiest way around this avoidable loss of traffic is to install a SSL certificate as soon as possible. The certificate works by activating a secure connection between the users browser and the web server the website is operating on, encrypting the exchange of data and making it safer and more secure for both parties.
Without an official SSL certificate, hackers can easily access information, as the data exchange is not private. This is a goldmine for hackers as they can easily access confidential data such as credit card information and other sensitive personal information.
A way to determine whether a site is secure or not is the prefix to the URL. Websites that are secure will start with HTTPS. Websites that are not secure will start with HTTP and will be flagged up in red font with an exclamation mark notifying the user that the site is not safe.
SSL-Certificate offers safe, secure and complete secure socket layer certificates and will have the certificate professional installed and tested across entire websites including all images, forms and content on the same day of the initial order.
There are free options available that will need to be renewed every 90 days, but the company recommends making the small one-time investment to eliminate the hassle of renewing so that companies can rest easy knowing their websites and their clients data is safe and protected.
