Slopes

Accommodation
While the range of Les Arcs’ ski focussed options are not in question, perhaps the real jewel in the crown of the area is the extensive options available for both high-class and budget accommodation. The villages are set on the mountain above Bourg St Maurice and are named after their various altitudes. These include:
•1600: the lowest of the resorts, 1600 is known for being family friendly, and features cosy apartment-like accommodation such as Cascade 541.
•1800: This is the biggest of the four resorts and is the hub of clubbing and nightlife.
•1950: the newest resort in the area featuring Savoyard architecture and a huge range of amenities.
•2000: this resort, the highest of the four, is quieter and more peaceful and has a great range of shops and restaurants.
These resorts feature a great selection of affordable catered and self-catered apartments and chalets, as close to the action as you care to be.
Amenities
All over Les Arcs ski area there are a very decent number of bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and many more amenities, which make it a truly comprehensive and welcoming region for all kinds of holidaymakers. It is also within very easy distance of other resorts, such as Sainte-Foy and La Rosiere, which are highly accessible and perfect for fun-filled days out when you need to change things up a bit. La Rosiere has the novelty factor of being on the border of France and Italy, meaning you can literally ski with the freedom of not even knowing which country you are in at times!
