When one is planning to a noise reduction by the means of a silencer, ITS offers a wide array of industrial silencers for many applications related to acoustic insulation / soundproofing connected to the protection of workers against noise, the preservation of acoustic environment, the limitation of noise emissions in the energy sector, the acoustical behavior of testing rooms, the acoustic comfort in industrial buildings.

industrial silencers can be inserted into aeraulics networks, specifically for the inlet or outlet of ventilation or air conditioning systems e.g. climate control, refrigeration, cooling (if expected: with towers) but additionally for the soundproofing of fans e.g. oven for heavy business, fumes treatment approach, as well as of compressors, of heat engines and combustion turbines (for the diminution of noise emitted by air intake and exhaust for power generation)
industrial silencers can be inserted into pressurized fluid networks e.g. to limit the noise of control valves (in-line silencers) or to reduce noise emissions during depressurization (discharge expansion) e.g. tank drain, bleed, valve

Presentation :
envelope generally rectangular (from time to time circular in case of silencer for air ducting performs by way of example), metallic, single or double shell (ideal mechanical resistance over time) if required with an upstream connecting flange and using a downstream connecting flange and ( for some applications) with thermal, acoustic or thermoacoustic outer insulation. Plastic building feasible for unique applications (e.g. in case of incredibly corrosive fluid at low temperatures)
splitters (from time to time named: baffles) generally parallelepipedic (except for silencers having a circular cross section), with metallic frames and structures. Plastic building possible for special applications (e.g. in case of pretty corrosive fluid at low temperatures)
thickness, filling (normally mineral wool: polyester wool or other for particular applications), finishes, free open area, geometry of upstream and downstream ends: adapted depending on the desired performance
