(firmenpresse) - The Spanish island of Menorca is famous for its stunning landscapes, pristine beaches and overall great weather. Truly, there is no better way to explore this area than a spring or summertime trip navigating the stunning waterways via kayak. Check in to one of the many villas in Cala Galdana and get ready to paddle your way along this beautiful Mediterranean island.

Get started by seeking out one of the companies offering these kayak excursions. Age restrictions may apply, so make sure you’re clued up before booking spots for your whole family.

Sightseeing along the Way

Many available kayaking routes take full advantage of Menorca’s rugged, limestone coast and prime location in the balmy Mediterranean Sea. During your excursion, you can expect to spot local wildlife like Audouin’s gulls, blue rock-thrushes and kestrels, just to name a few! Visitors travelling in the prime seasons of spring and summer will be delighted by the colourful wildflowers and capers that grow down the cliffs. In addition, there are plenty of isolated white, sandy beaches throughout the route that are visible only to travellers who are paddling past!

A Popular Kayaking Route

One of the most well-travelled routes takes kayakers along the southern coast of Menorca. See if you can spot some of the beautiful Mediterranean villas in Cala Galdana as you ready your kayak for launch at the end of a gentle nearby stream. From here, you’ll be taken east to explore the first of many caves along the way – including one that is half-submerged. Soon after, you’ll reach Baldritxa Encantada where you’ll find one of the prettiest caves on the route. Almost pitch-black inside, this mysterious place is home to a hidden beach covered in wild marine grass.

As you continue paddling, you’ll soon reach a cliff called Cala Mitjana, where you’ll find three more caves beneath natural stone archways. Navigate past the rock formation Pont de n’Ali and you’ll be rewarded with magnificent views of the turquoise water of S’Olleta de Trebalúger. Make sure you have a waterproof camera with you so that you can capture the most picturesque areas.

Where to Stay

When it comes to picking the perfect accommodation for your holiday, the villas in Cala Galdana add a nice touch of luxury for your stay in Menorca. These spacious abodes will serve as a comfortable home-away-from-home as you explore Menorca’s natural waterways.

Menorca is full of exciting new adventures and hidden places to explore, and there’s truly no better way to see it all than from the back of a kayak. Get in touch with a specialist company and prepare to paddle around this island paradise starting near the villas in Cala Galdana, discovering hidden coves, natural rock formations and pristine beaches along the way.
