(Thomson Reuters ONE) - 21 September 2009 - Aker Solutions has signed a contract withStingray Copper Inc. for the new 750 million tonnes per day (MTPD)sulphur burning acid plant for the El Pilar Copper Project in Mexico.Aker Solutions will provide full basic engineering and projectdevelopment support for the new acid plant, sulphur receiving, andassociated power generation complex.The work will be executed by multiple Aker Solutions' operations inVancouver, Canada, and Tucson and Houston, US, using its integratedsuite of IT and engineering tools and systems. The basic engineeringwill be completed by the end of the year, and execution of theproject is scheduled for next year.Stingray Copper Inc. is a copper exploration and development companywith its activities focused at the El Pilar copper project in Sonora,Mexico.
