Geo Minerals Completes Phase One Field Exploration Program on "West Blackwater" Property
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/30/11 -- GEO MINERALS LTD. (TSX VENTURE: GM)(FRANKFURT: 8G3) ("GEO" or the "Company") announces that the first phase of exploration is now complete at the Company's 100%-owned claims adjacent to Newgold's Blackwater Deposit. Initial work on "West Blackwater" included detailed geological mapping, selected prospecting, an IP (induced polarization) geophysical survey and infill soil sampling to delineate the anomalous zones identified during the 2010 exploration program. A total of 1,048 soil samples and 69 rock samples were taken and shipped to AGAT Laboratories in Burnaby, B.C. for analysis. Approximately 60 kilometers of IP was performed by Walcott Geophysics of Vancouver with interpretations and reports to follow.
