New upgrade to Probe Repair Program provides Mobile Probe Testing for hospitals.

They introduced the program a few years ago by opening up their repair facility in Indiana.The enhancements to this new and improved version of SIMPLIFY include many transesophageal (TEE) models to their repair capabilities in addition to the 3D/4D and standard probe repairs, namely: PHILIPS X7-2T, PHILIPS X8-2T, GE 6T, GE 6VT-D, and the SIEMENS V5MS.What I find interesting is SIMPLIFY’s new flat rate repair pricing. The new pricing model enables same-day repair ordering. With the upfront pricing for minor, major and enhanced repairs, customers can provide payment and receive an RMA the same day and their exchange or loaner probe the following day.“Our onsite Mobile Probe Testing is a revolutionary way of providing true probe management as a service to our customers that will save them tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars in their probe spend,†shares Bob Broschart, VP of Technical Operations and 30 year probe expert. “We go in, evaluate their entire probe inventory, and assess the state of each probe. Then we begin planning and educating our customer on probe safety, wear-and-tear, and why it matters. We partner with them to raise the quality of their inventory and reduce incidents, damage and replacements through better probe care.†The program includes periodic onsite evaluations and assessments, free training and repair scheduling. As a result, contract customers will experience significant probe spend savings while extending the life of each probe.It seems to me that Conquest Imaging has been strategically improving their ultrasound offerings over the last several years. Although acquired in December, 2018, they have managed to continue to make improvements to their offerings and expand. MXR Imaging provides MR, CT, and X-ray products and services. It just makes sense to enhance their probe repair offering, increasing the level of efficiency, excellence and savings to hospitals nationwide.
