Slovenia
This hidden gem is often overlooked, but anyone who hasn’t road-tripped around Slovenia is definitely missing out. It may be small but it’s perfectly formed, and this tiny country is packed full of fairy-tale castles, turquoise lakes, friendly local people and gourmet cuisine. The fact that it’s a little more under the radar is a major plus, as you’ll often find that you have the roads to yourself. Bliss!
