Drawing cars is like expericening the car since it was correct infront of you. To me drawing a car usually gives me additional insight of your particulars on the car that I would normally not notice from just taking a look at a picture.
Is it actually so difficult to do a good Ferrari sketch or nice Porsche drawing for that matter? That is a question I get a good deal. My answer is the fact that only patience can make a good drawing. For the reason that for anyone who is not willing to devote numerous hours just having the proportions in the sketch appropriate, the shading correct or the lights suitable the result are going to be not quite impressive.
My greatest advise on how to increase your car drawings is basically to spend extra time on them. As an example if you are not fully happy together with the front lights, don't just continue with all the drawing and hoping that the lights will get improved by some magical touch! No, look in the lights and don't give up on them till that you are totally happy with them, then move on towards the subsequent component of the car drawing.
A different advise would be to not possess the attitude of finishing the drawing / sketch tonight, due to the fact this will likely just make you ruch the entire drawing and get you frustrated that it is actually taking longer than you expected.
Rather work an hour here and an hour there and sooner than you assume you'll have completed an awesome drawing of that favored Porsche of yours!
