(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/11 -- MEDIATECHNICS CORPORATION (PINKSHEETS: MEDT) is pleased to announce that it is currently determining final specifications for a new line of photovoltaic solar power generating systems to be built in China for the Company's joint venture, Apex Solar Corporation.
The Company is investigating several possible large-scale commercial sales of the solar power systems under consideration and plans to update shareholders as events occur.
In further news, on August 30, 2011, the Company began a private offering of preferred stock, to accredited investors only, in order to raise as much as $500,000 to fund expenses related to Apex Solar Corporation as well as general operations. The Company is currently negotiating with investors and has already received tentative commitments from several investors. Additionally, the Company's President, Henri Atamian subscribed to the first $10,000 on August 30, 2011.
