SENSIO Technology Inc. Announces Resignation of CTO
VP Engineering, nominated as an officer of the company
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/11 -- SENSIO Technologies Inc. (SENSIO) (TSX VENTURE: SIO) today announced the resignation, for personal reasons, of its Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Etienne Fortin. He will be leaving the company on September 16, 2011. All his functions and responsibilities will be transferred to the current VP Engineering, Mr. Jacques Patry, based on a mutually agreed transitional plan.
Etienne Fortin joined SENSIO in 2003 as one of its first employees. Under his leadership, the company has seen its technology and IP portfolio grow significantly, positioning SENSIO as one of the world's leading technology companies in stereoscopic 3D. SENSIO's senior management and Board formally extend their sincere thanks and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
New officer nomination
The Board is pleased to announce the nomination of its VP Engineering, Mr. Jacques Patry, as an officer of SENSIO Technologies Inc. Jacques Patry was formerly Chief Technology Officer and part of the founding team of Algolith. Previously, he occupied posts as design engineer and algorithmic development engineer at Miranda Technologies and ABL, in Canada, and Cirrus Logic in the United States. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's in the same discipline, specializing in signal processing, both from Sherbrooke University in Quebec. He also obtained an MBA from HEC Montreal in 2009, and attended the 10X20 Program in partnership with the MIT Sloan School.
