Verizon Deploys Mobile Communication Resources in Paterson, New Jersey to Support Residents Affected by Storm

(firmenpresse) - WARREN, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 09/04/11 -- As power outages and flooding continue in the aftermath of the devastating storm over the weekend, Verizon Wireless has coordinated with the Paterson Mayor's Office to provide a mobile communications center to help residents contact family, friends and loved ones.

The 53-foot trailer offers free domestic and international long distance calling, 110v outlets for charging cell phones and other electronic devices, and internet access. The Verizon mobile communications center is located at 62 North Haledon Ave, off of North Main Street near the Holy Tabernacle Church, and will be open to public beginning Sunday, September 4th from 10am to 7pm. The facility arrived on site Saturday afternoon, Sept. 3rd and will remain at this location until at least Tuesday.
