Lappland Goldminers AB raises SEK 82,4 million through a directed new
share issue.
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Lappland Goldminers AB (publ) has on September 24, 2009 (after theclosing of First North) completed a directed new share issue of 7 700000 new shares at an issue price of SEK 10,70 per share. Through thenew share issue, the company raises SEK 82,4 million before issuecosts. The new share issue was directed to a limited number ofspecifically selected private and institutional investors in Sweden.The share in Lappland Goldminers has during the last three monthstraded to prices between SEK 9,50 and circa 12. When determining theissue price for the completed new share issue the current marketconditions, the price elasticity of qualified investors, thecompany's financial situation and the issue price of previous tradingin the share have been taken into consideration."The issue capital from the directed share issue will among otherthings be used to update the company's previously completedfeasibility study for the Fäboliden-project, preparations of theplanned drillprogramme which shall verify ore and the extent of theore deposits in the mines in Pahtavaara and Blaiken and to financethe further development of company's other operating activities."says Kjell Larsson, CEO of Lappland Goldminers.The Board of Directors has resolved on the directed new share issuein accordance with the authorisation from the Annual General Meetingheld on May 28, 2009.
