"We develop the Coatings that give you the EDGE"

(PresseBox) - Intergard® 10.000 Series, a range of high performance coatings developed by AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings, specifically for land-based military equipment, shall be one of the brands featured by the company.
Since its launch, Intergard® has been widely incorporated into use by international defence communities being renowned for the high levels of protection and specific benefits to the military market, including camouflage and asset preservation.
An extensive range of reflectance coatings with low VOC levels and minimum requirement of solvent during the cleaning process, adds environmental benefits combined with reduced, less intensive labour times, whist offering the highest level of corrosion protection for the demanding defence environment.
One of the most innovative Intergard® products is a peelable waterborne camouflage coating; Intergard® 10220, allowing a change of paint scheme on military vehicles extremely quickly, allowing for rapid response within an environment demanding high performance, sustainability and adaptability.
No longer a time consuming activity, the requirement for a change of camouflage coating, accommodating varying environments and terrains is now quick, efficient and clean.
Intergard® 10220, the new peelable coating has many advantages; applied by conventional sprays, brush or roller, it offers a robust coating but can be peeled off when necessary to suit changing terrains or in order to decontaminate a military vehicle.
AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings further development of this line in recent years has afforded further cost efficiency and environmental improvements. As Intergard® 10220 is only temporary, and has a VOC of less than 30g per litre, it does not have the traditional environmental implications associated with solvent based temporary systems. It can be removed by peeling or by pressurised water, as opposed to strippers and special cleaning agents, reducing the high costs and cumbersome environmental impact associated with the disposal of temporary coatings.

The Company's service offers in-house and on-site training in coating products, technologies and application techniques.
