The 45th Annual CMA Awards -- "Country Music's Biggest Night" -- will broadcast live on the ABC Television Network from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 9 (8:00 PM/ET).
Shelton's fastest rising single, "God Gave Me You," is a particularly important song on his new album, Red River Blue, because it reminds him of his relationship with country music superstar, Miranda Lambert. He first heard the song while he was driving and was so moved by the lyrics that he had to pull his truck over. The moment he heard "God Gave Me You" with all of the correlations it had to his own life, Shelton knew that he needed to cut the song on his album.
