(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Zeewolde, the Netherlands, 28 September 2009 - Spyker Cars N.V.,manufacturer of exclusive premium sports cars, announces today thatFrans Liebregts (63), Chief Operational Officer (COO), will retire on31 December 2009 and, having prepared his team for his intendeddeparture, will not be succeeded. His tasks will be absorbed by hissecond in commands.Frans Liebregts joined the Supervisory Board of the company in May2004. After retiring from his job at Cogent Power, he became COO inJuly 2008 to put his vast experience in the production side of theautomotive industry to work and transfer his knowledge to themanagement. That task has now been accomplished and therefore thetime has come to retire.Victor Muller, CEO, said: "We owe a lot to Frans, who has beeninstrumental in getting our operations to the next level ofprofessionalism. Under his guidance we have managed to achieveserious cost savings and implemented processes to develop and produceour cars more cost effective.
