(firmenpresse) - AUGUSTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/07/11 -- Where® continues to celebrate 75 years of providing information to travelers around the globe by launching its first branded concession airport store.

In conjunction with Pacific Gateway Concessions, Where® opened Where Traveler Books + More on Sept. 1 in Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), one of the top 10 largest airports in the United States.

"With our city-specific magazines, hard-cover GuestBooks, maps, QuickGuides and more, Where® has always been the top in-destination resource for travelers. Now we are a part of getting there, too," says William S. Morris III, chairman and CEO of Morris communications, parent company of the Where® brand. "Where® has been who you turn to when you arrive, but now we're offering invaluable information to travelers while they're on their way."

Where Traveler Books + More, named after the Where Traveler website, a 24/7 resource for information on 100 destinations worldwide, contains a large selection of books, magazines, sundry items, accessories and souvenirs, along with other helpful travel items. Where® products will be sold and displayed at the store, including a selection of Where® magazines and GuestBooks for the cities to which Houston flights are headed. Travelers can learn about their destinations before they arrive.

The 1,900-square-foot store is located in International Terminal E, IAH's newest airport terminal. Upon entering Where Traveler Books + More, customers will be greeted by an interactive, touch-screen panel with exclusive Where Traveler content. They can learn more about the brand in a unique, in-store, customer-only interaction.

Where® plans to open Where Traveler Books + More in other major U.S. airports soon.
