Anevia Announces Release of New High Density IPTV Head-End Product
(firmenpresse) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS -- (Marketwire) -- 09/08/11 -- Anevia, a leader in video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand (VOD), today announced the release of Flamingo XL, a new modular and high density IPTV head-end product for hospitality and corporate markets.
Flamingo XL captures live TV & radio content from satellite, cable, digital terrestrial, and analog sources before streaming it over IP networks to set-top boxes, PCs, or other IP connected devices. The Flamingo XL is based upon a modular 4U rack hardware platform that allows hospitality and corporate video service providers to deliver a mix of channels from various sources over internal IP networks.
The Anevia Flamingo XL is a high density solution designed to simplify IPTV head-end configurations and reduce costs related to system infrastructure and energy consumption. A range of video input cards are available for satellite, cable, digital terrestrial, and analog sources. The Flamingo XL can host up to 40 hot-swappable cards per unit with two tuners each for a total of up to 400 streamed channels.
CAM cards are also available for third-party CAS/DRM systems. Additional software-based options include a mosaic menu generator, re-scrambling, and web radio broadcasting.
