1,000 Women Unite to Support United Way's Work in Education, Financial Stability and Health

Co-chaired by the mother-daughter team of Sue Miller and her daughter Leslie Saiontz, this annual breakfast brings together 1,000 of the most driven, influential women in the community to advance 's work in education, financial stability and health -- the building blocks for a good quality of life.
While still actively engaged in designing, today Karan channels much of her time and energy toward philanthropy through the , which she founded in 2007. Her passion for merging commerce with philanthropy, which has made her a leader in this new model in retail, will be the focus on her remarks at the breakfast.
The invitation-only breakfast is open to members and to women who are interested in joining the group. Women's Leadership represents 2,500 women who each make an annual gift of $1,000 or more to United Way, and enjoy networking, volunteering and professional development opportunities, as well as a number of events throughout the year.
