GCT successfully diamond-coated a 0.05 mm drill

(PresseBox) - GCT GmbH, the global leaders in diamond coated micro-tools are pleased to announce the successful first-time diamond-coating of a 0.05 mm drill with its own GCT- multilayer layer.

Nearly invisible the drill is coated with the renowned and multiple times proven diamond layer and passed already some first customers tests with great success.

Numerous applications in electronics and ceramics pending for processing are possible now with all the advantages of diamond-coated tools.  

The picture shows the coated tool in comparison with a human hair and the impressing dimensions of the tool.
