Transmode announces winners of its 2011 reseller awards

Stockholm, Sweden - 9(th) September 2011 - Transmode, a global supplier of
packet-optical networking solutions, today announced the winners of its annual
Value Added Reseller awards. The two main awards for Most Successful Reseller
2011 and Most Valuable Sales Partner 2011 were awarded to NEC Corporation and
OPNET (Taiwan), respectively.
The awards were presented at the Transmode Value Added Reseller Conference held
at the Sandhamn Yacht Hotel in the outer archipelago of Stockholm. The first
award of Most Successful Reseller was awarded to the company that generated the
most business by value for Transmode in 2010. The second award of Most Valuable
Sales partner was awarded to the company that most significantly increased its
sales revenue in 2010.

OPNET
Most Valuable Sales Partner 2011
The Taiwanese company OPNET won the Most Valuable Sales Partner because it has
helped Transmode significantly in its geographical expansion into the Asian
market. OPNET has proven that it can market and sell Transmode's products and
has broadened the company's customer base in the APAC region.
Both winners were presented with a trophy by Björn Andersson, Transmode's VP
Sales, during the conference. Resellers were also given updates on Transmode's
portfolio of solutions that address the challenges network operators face in
areas such as Ethernet/packet integration, mobile backhaul, and passive optical
access networks.
Björn Andersson commented, "We are delighted to recognize NEC and OPNET for
their outstanding contribution to Transmode's continuing success. Both the
winning companies have extended Transmode's reach into new market segments with
